We got this alarm clock radio for my 6yr old son for Christmas, his first alarm clock. He loves it. You can set it to wake up by radio, or the Hot Wheel soundwhich is wheels peeling out and an anouncer telling the racers to "START YOUR ENGINES", then the wheels peel out again and says something about racing for the checkerd flag. The volume dial and the radio tuner dial are wheels and the radio has a pretty good sound for an alarm clock.
