I purchased this as a gift for my teenager and she loves it.I do to.She uses it all the time and it helped to get rid of the need for space for both a CD player and clock radio.Now, If only there was a product to get rid of the rest of the "clutter." lol
Hey. Im 15 and I bought myself an ipod. I love this dock, it's purple, like my ipod color. I like it. It's good for 25 bucks. It has alarm clock, radio, and you can play your ipod. It comes with a remote. I bought mine used off of ipod world, on here. So it's cool. If you want a dock that is cheap, and LOVE the color purple. Buy it then.
The old saying you get what you pay for was never more true. This clock is nothing but a piece of junk. It's loud, often stops for no reason and needs to be shaken to start again, etc. Absolutely useless.
This is so cool! it has the best wake up alarm ever! I love this clock. The only reason I could not give it 5 stars is because even with the manual the controls are hard to figure out, but with practice it is an awesome clock.
I bought this for my mom, who recently lost her sight.She has found this to be extremely helpful.She keeps the remote control in her pocket and just hits the button when she wants to know the time.It clearly gives the date, time and temperature.Highly recommend this for anyone who would have such a need.
I loved the picture of this item...I had just the place to put it in my home where it would look great.It does look great.It just hardly works.The whole thing only weighs a pound or two...this should have clued me in right away when unpacking it.The switches have an imprecise and awful feel and seemvery delicate.The sound quality is very poor (Remember those less than $5 transistor radios?) and the reception is worse.Even the strongest stations in my area only come in with a great deal of fuzzy sound and you can always hear the radio stations near them in the back ground.I haven't bought anything electronic that was this bad in years.Don't be fooled by the good looks...in this case beauty really is only skin deep.
The time on this clock is automatically refreshed daily.I have used the unit in Italy.The time continually alternates between European time and British time (one hour difference).Even if I manually set the time, the refresh feature cannot be disabled.I have experimented with different locations in the house, but I can't resolve the problem.I cannot trust this clock as an alarm clock (I did once, and while the clock was correct when I went to sleep, it had gotten out of kilter by morning).It's a great idea, but it doesn't work.
With 20/20 vision in bright light, it is very difficult to read theswitches that switch between cd and radio. Two switches must be set correctly to switch between radio and cd. If you're only going to use it for one use, radio or cd then it's ok, but if you want both, do this test. Look at the unit in the store, imagine you're in bed in dim light and try to switch between cd and radio modes. If you can do it, buy it.
I bought this clock because my wife commandeered my other back-lit sharp alarm clock, and this was the closest I could come to replacing it. This one is a little noisy, especially when right by your head on a night stand. But not that bad. It arrived in unopened packaging but was broken. It took me all of two minutes to pop off the back, re-align the light bar/snooze bar, and get it working. The benefits of this clock are that it is large enough to easily operate the controls. The back light is really a side light at the 4 o'clock position, but it is adequate for double checking the alarm setting and seeing what time it is. From a sound sleep, you can either hit the snooze bar or disable the alarm without fumbling. It is keeping accurate time. Overall, it is a good value.
My husband and I really enjoyed this clock. Why we don't have it anymore has nothing to do with how it performed. It was a great clock. We liked how the numbers were large. That LED light makes it soothing to look at as well. No bright red, yellow or green lights. Just a nice blue(and there is a dimmer switch on it if it is too bright for you). It's taller than it is long which makes it a nice space saver. We also had quite a few storms last year, and if your power goes out and comes back on later (even after 2 days like what happened to us, the right time WILL show up again) And as an added bonus, the alarm still goes off on time if it is plugged in and the power is out (so long as you put a battery in it of course :D ). About that snooze button. We had no problems with that either. If you set the clock away from where you sleep, so you have to get up to turn it off, then you will actually look to see where the snooze/radio buttons are. Of course you're going to hit another button if you just reach over the bed, eyes half shut, and slap the thing. We had no problem finding the buttons with our eyes wide open. One more compliment has to be that we didn't find the buzzer annoying either. It was actually pleasant compared to every other one we tried out in the store. Go ahead, try them out. You'll see what we mean. It's more of a beep than a BUZZ! Which was really nice. Me personally I have to have the buzzer on. Otherwise I will fall back asleep to the music, and the one thing I can't stand to hear when I first wake up in the morning, is a loud BUZZ sound. Praise God, they made one that BEEPS for a change. I've had my clock for over a year, and it works perfectly.I love the atomic time setting feature, and the dual alarm is a great convenience.Controls are easy to set, and I needed no instruction manual to figure them out.I'd buy another for my classroom, if only I could find one!Must have been discontinued by manufacturer.I got it at a great price at WalMart, but this is a decent price on Amazon.Problem is, I usually buy Amazon Prime products, so the shipping from this seller is a bit of a shock.
The product has excellent features and is pretty easy to use after reading the directions.
I've read some of the other reviews, and yes, this item has it's limitations.If you are like me, though, you either just want to hear music in the shower or bath or you are trying to be considerate to anyone who can hear you sing.I get good reception from the radio and get many channels.My cds play fine, the mirror doesn't fog and the clock helps me keep track of time.You can't adjust the settings (such as treble and bass), but for crying out loud, it's a CD player/radio for your shower...how good does it have to be?I am thrilled with the performance of this product and would recommend it to anyone that wants a little music in their lives (or more specifically, their showers)!

If you just need an alarm clock to tell the time and get you out of bed get this one. It more than gets the job done. I was looking for a bedside clock, no radio, no projection, no gimmicks, and after a very very long internet search came across this nice little clock. If you're just looking for a basic alarm clock for a low price this is the one to get! It has more bells and whistles than a regular clock, 9 minute snooze (of course it MUST have the SNOOZE feature), automatic reset/off alarm button, on/off alarm button, and loud/soft alarm noise button. This really will look attractive on your bedside/living room end table/kitchen counter and it comes in different colors too. The black looks very attractive on my bedside table. It has good heft/weight to it too, giving it a feeling of a quality made product that will last for years. The brightness of the display is perfect, not too dim, not too bright. I was looking at analogue clocks but this one is a beauty compared to the two previous analogue clocks I had and has a PM light indicator, Alarm On indicator, and a low back up battery indicator besides. The alarm will go off for two hours before automatically turning off (leave home/apt. and forget to turn it off), and the snooze feature will go off every 9 minutes as long as you keep pressing it, and the feature will automatically turn itself off after 2 hours (do you really need more than that, reset the alarm). It is nice and compact so it doesn't take up too much room. Besides this clock is electric so batteries are no longer a concern. This is a nice quality, attractive product that seems like it will last a very long time (much better quality than my Timex battery powered analogue clock, much better looking, and it's both heavier and smaller at the same time). Other reviews state the snooze button is located too close to the alarm off button (may accidently press it instead), but I have had absolutely no problem distinguishing between the two buttons, especially given their size, and it isn't even a concern to me. I should also include that I thought analogue was the way to go, but the digital display on this is of high quality, is easy on the eyes at night, and having to reach over to press a button to see the time in the dark is no longer an issue. So get this clock it's a no-brainer with more than enough features to ensure this is the alarm clock you will be glad you purchased. I think it's worth more than I paid for it!
I really love waking up to the music of my choice! Contrary to another reveiw here, you CAN program this to play any track first or randomly pick one for you. It sounds great for its size, fits easily on the nightstand without overcrowding. Working flawlessly since purchase (4months). Glad I took a chance, as I was not familiar with any jWin products. Control labeling should be more clear; I need to turn on a bright light to change settings but I think its to not distract from the handsome look. Since being laid-off a few weeks ago, Im still letting this clock wake me (a little later). I just love waking to a favorite artist!Bob
This thing has constant hum coming from the speakers, even when connected to an iPod nano. At high volume its poor quality shows well, with plenty of distortion and clipping. Clock and alarm are hard to setup. It doesn't control your iPod sound, which is annoying because you have to press the buttoms in the ipod in a incovenient position when docked.
In a small kitchen you can run out of counter space very quickly, so under the counter works great.I bought it and have no regrets.It works well, and is easy to use, especially with a remote.I love it.Bt I had to have someone else install it ... I don't do too well with drilling holes.It keeps me company in the kitchen, which is where I hang out.Love it.The color was perfect.Red is hard to find.
Regardless where did you place it on, it's not easy to read.The LCD screen is highly reflective.The base makes it impossible to be mounted or glued to an upright surface.The only valuable reading, the temperature and the humidity numbers are crunched to the bottom which makes it even harder to read.
This clock is average in almost every way.It has an average alarm, an average radio, and average user controls.The only problem I have with it is that I was hoping for a much brighter display, and sadly this one is medium-to-dim on the brightness scale.If, however, you're looking for a basic and reliable clock with standard features, this is your guy.I suspect one could get a similar product for one or two dollars cheaper, but I recommend this one in any case.It's a solid, average clock.
I absolutely love this clock. how ever there are some weak points in the design. the plastic used for the ear ear stalks is very brittle. when mine came it was broken off. however a little super glue remedied this issue. other that that, it is terrific. the clock has a photo sensor so when you turn off the lights, the Dalek lights up. (only for about 10 seconds max). but it makes me happy every time i get ready for bed and it comes to life.
I bought this radio despite reviews complaining of its reliability.It worked right out of the box and offers, for the price, far more presettable stations than its nearest competitor, a remote and an ethernet connection in addition to its wireless feature. It is also one of the smallest of the table top sets and will sit neatly in a little corner without drawing attention to itself - an appealing feature to those listeners for whom appearance places a far second to content. I found its setup well thought out and mostly intuitive.The front panel offers only three pre-sets so do not lose the remote which replicates all radio controls and has a 100 pre-set capacity.The loudspeaker offers better than average fidelity of table top models. 
This was not a bad clock for the first few weeks after I purchased it. The radio controlled atomic time feature is actually kind of cool and the clock was quite accurate. However, it is extremely difficult to see the display unless you are at exactly the correct angle. And then after a month or so the display started to disappear bit by bit. One day the alarm did not go off and I wound up running very late to work. Now after what I consider to be an exceptionally short period of time the display has completely disappeared. Nothing. Needless to say, I will not be purchasing any clocks from Sharp in the future based upon my experience with this one.
Ok, my intial take on this was nice looking, dual alarms, great deal.I was wrong!Don't be misled, this may have dual alarms but one is for the radio and the second alarm is a buzzer.Why would Timex possibly create an alarm clock where both alarms couldn't be radio alarms?I hate waking up to that annoying buzzer sound but now between my wife and I, one of us has to.Second, the viewing angle is poor, it's hard to see the minute digit if the clock is facing slightly away from you.The screen is recessed into the clock so the side of the screen blocks your view of the time.Third, the date is so large on the screen it is almost confusing because it's right up agains the time.I know that's being picky, but figured I'd mention it.
I received this radio five days ago.I needed a decent clock radio that played cds, had a repeat button, and was unobtrusive enough to be on the nightstand.When the radio showed up there were no instructions in the box, which I figured was okay since it's just a clock radio.After I got it plugged in and the time set, I tried to play a cd.The power button wouldn't turn it on.With no instructions I felt stupid not being able to figure it out.I left it plugged in over night and the alarm worked fine on the morning.The next night I tried the power button again and was able to play a cd all night to help me sleep.The cd player makes a whirring noise that was distracting.Since my sleep cds are mostly white noise the extra noise was annoying.I think if it was music it might not have been so noticeable.The next night I was all set to play a cd at bedtime and, again, no power.That was Thursday night and it's now Sunday and, with the exception of the clock and alarm, there hasn't been power since the second night.I don't hear any short so I think it's just a bad machine, maybe too cheap.I'm returning it tomorrow.
This alarm clock seems to have been designed for elderly people who have difficulty seeing and hearing.First, the the clock is very large.I mean, it's greater than a foot long; you will have no trouble seeing what time it is from the other room (note to insomniacs: glow from eerie green numbers = more time staring at ceiling).Second, there are only two options for a wake up call: (1) the loudest buzzer ever constructed by humans; or (2) a radio that, admittedly, I have not tried (who uses that option anyway?).This clock is a real find for people losing their senses of sight and hearing, but for those of you with undiminished eyes and ears, you might want another clock in the interest of staying that way.
This clock works well as a battery operated alarm clock.However, Casio really could have thought through the "travel" part better.Although it's light enough, it's too large for a travel clock.And there's no cover for the controls, so my first set of batteries died when something in my bag pressed against the snooze/light button for the whole flight.If you're looking for a battery operated alarm for your nightstand, this is a decent clock.If you really want a travel alarm, look elsewhere (or at least pack the batteries separately).
A no-frills clock-radio which works fine. I wish they had included a wire antenna like the Sony ones for better reception. But for the price I paid, no complaints!!
This item worked real well and then all of a sudden the buttons would not work. I could not change the time, set the alarm, or even turn on the CD player or radio. The alarm still worked, but I had to set it to get up at the time previously set because it would not change. It was not just one button it was all of them. Nothing worked. It was like they had a timer and shut down all of a sudden. It happened only a week after the 90 day warrranty period was over.
Should learn to stay away from items made in China. Arrived broken. Went straight to the trash. Low Amazon cost made this less painful.
