I bought this unit for my son for Christmas for use with his Ipod Nano 5G.According to the Apple website, these two products are compatible.However, when my 10-year old plugged it in with much excitement on Christmas morning, the unit did not work.After multiple attempts to call XtremeMac (aka Memorex), their phone lines were too busy to put my call in the queue, and I had to keep calling back.This was my first clue that this was not going to have a happy ending.... I finally contacted a real person, who promptly hung up on me.I called back again only to be disconnected, again.On the third attempt, I talked to a real person who told me that my problem was that the unit was not compatible with the Nano 5G! The hot Nano currently being sold by Apple.What!
