While the Memorex Loft had some features I desired such as battery backup, duel alarms, and expandable speaker, its drawbacks make it basically unusable as far as I can see.The back light on the display is way too bright even on the dim setting and the number display is very difficult to see even in the best of lighting conditions.Waking up at night and trying to see the display simply blinds you.The control buttons on the front of the unit are too small, and impossible to push without holding the whole unit to keep it from moving.I ended up taking it to work to use for music while I work.It is pretty much useless as a clock radio in the bedroom.Click Here to see more reviews about: Memorex Loft CD Clock Radio - Midnight Black (MC7104-BLK)
