I bought this clock to replace a Digiview RC61ELW which I left in a hotel room. The Digiview was not perfect but it was much better than this clock. The Timex is appropriately small and does capture the time signal in an inside room. What I don't like: 1) a display with character spacing and font that is hard to read, 2) lack of a seconds display, 3) button batteries rather than AAA, and 4) the large circular button pad that is only used for setup. Another disadvantage is that there is no way to defeat the time signal lock when out of the US.
