So many things are wrong with this thing.Most have been mentioned before.
* Some control switches are on the BACK!
* The buttons are iffy when they work.
* The buttons are labeled poorly.
* Nothing makes sense.
* The manual is both useless and necessary.
* I had to hit the 'Reset' button a couple if times to have the thing accept new entries.??
Hopefully the previous reviewer looks are my review because I can help him out about the 'alarm' going off every hour.For the past month I actually had not powered the thing because of the same problem and I couldn't find the 'manual'.That isn't the 'Alarm' going off every hour, it is actually the 'Chime'.Certainly sounds like the alarm though, HA, what do I know.From the manual:
"Pressing the 'MODE/ALARM OFF' during the normal display will enter the alarm mode setting. ("AL" will be displayed on the LCD panel) Pressing 'SET' will cause the following sequence:Alarm off & Chime off ** -> Alarm on & Chime on -> Alarm off & Chime on -> go back to **: (Alarm and chime icon will show on the LCD panel)"
The reason I am out on the internet looking for information about this stupid thing is that I can't tell which icon is 'Chime' and which is 'Alarm'.Dollars to donuts it is going to wake up my son at 9:00. :-(But then I will know.

This is a great little radio. It's got great volume levels that can be heard throughout the house without distortion. It's also very easy to set the time and alarms. It's small and compact so it's perfect for desks and whatnot. I definitely recommend!
I purchased this for taking to India - the specifications indicate that it works in 240V as well 110V. It works alright.. but the time keeps falling behind by 5 minutes every day.
Bought this clock in order to get an outside temperature reading display. The wireless sensor works well, but it did lose the signal for awhile. Shutting off the clock and restarting fixed that. I am not using the atomic-clock radio link, and it keeps time fine.
Not to be too critical... the clock works and projects as designed but I question why the projection and the clock are two entirely separate clocks. You set the clock by rotating the bezel (?) and then you have to set the projection clock separately. Two separate clocks?
I needed a replacement for my iHome iPod alarm clock which gave up the ghost after two years and stopped recognizing my iPod.Rather than drop $100 for 2 years again, I decided to try this partly because it was small and because it seemed simple, both of which ended up being true.Overall, it does everything it's supposed to and has two big benefits - 2 alarms that can be set separately or simultaneously and those soothing new age-y sounds.The negatives - it takes a few tries to figure out the best way to set the alarm (especially if you're a snooze button addict like me) and the display light is annoying as it only comes in off, super bright and oh my God I'm blind!This is a big difference from the iHome clock which had a very light display light that was perfect for falling asleep.Otherwise, it's a better, more compact product for a great price.
