Equity Skyscan 31420 Travel Atomic Clock Review

I'm sending this back! The nice bright face, with contrasting yellow background, shown on the image is only a sticker. The actual face is gray and black and is not easy to see, even when lit by pushing the tiny button that you'll never find in the dark. Even worse is if the clock is not near a window, it won't set the time. It also can't be in a concrete building, or about 10 other places according to the directions, for it to work properly. I can't trust that this will work properly wherever I'm staying on my trip.

Sharp SPC364 Atomic LCD Bedside Alarm Clock (Silver) Review

Clock itself is decent, except very hard to figure out w/o manual.For those who have lost manual, below may be helpful:

SETTING THE TIME ZONE
* In the Normal Time Display, press the [MODE] key to enter
the Alarm Time Mode.
* Press the [SET] key to set the desired time zone.
* Press the [MODE] to return to the time mode position.

SETTING THE ALARM
* While in the normal time display mode, press [MODE]
button to enter the alarm time mode, the letters "AL" will
appear on the display.
* Hold the [SET] hotton for 2 seconds until the hour digit
flashes, then release the [SET] button.
* Press the [ADJUST] button to set the desired hour.
* Press the [SET] button again. The minute digits will begin
to flash.
* Press the [ADJUST] button key to change the minutes.
* Press the mode button once.
* To activate the alarm, press the [ADJUST] button and the
bell indicator will appear.
* Press the [ADJUST] button again to activate the snooze
and the snooze indicator will appear.
* To deactivate the alarm and snooze, press the [ADJUST]
button until both indicators disappear.
Press the [MODE] button to exit the alarm setting mode.

This is a WAY over-priced clock radio for what one gets to say the least.For one thing, the quality of sound from the radio itself leads much to be desired.It's very muffled.I purchased this radio about 6 months ago.Initially I thought it was "okay", but the longer I've used it, the less I like it.Setting the alarms, etc. is cumbersome.I should have purchased another Sony which I've had for many years in the past and which I recently have done.What a difference!This product isn't worth the $65 pricetag by any means.You'd be better off with a $15-$20 radio from Wal-Mart or Target!This item is going to Goodwill.DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT!

Equity 33100 Electric Alarm Clock with Lighted Dial Review

...a low-tech electric alarm clock.I bought this as a gift for my picky mother, who was distraught that her old bedside clock--a version similar to this one--died after many years faithful service. She wanted an electric clock (with a plug, not batteries) with a lighted dial and this one filled the bill. Simple, no frills..it tells the time and wakes you up. She also likes the silent operation (no ticking) and the soft-glow (kind of a pale orange) of the clock face. The first one I sent her didn't work, but Amazon replaced promptly with no issues.

GPX CRCD-2806 Clock Radio and CD Player with AM/FM Radio and Alarm Review

I purchased this CD clock radio because I found it difficult to sort through all the mixed reviews on everything else.

On the whole, I am very happy with it.It is easy to use, has a dimmer so I can sleep and am not bothered by the display, and the CD seats securely so that it does not bounce around as they can sometimes do in these small, inexpensive devices.It woke me right on schedule and was easy to wake up to.

The only drawback, and I guess you can't get everything in a device in this price range, is that the sound quality, particularly at the low levels I often use in my bedroom, is quite airy sounding.

If you want good sound -- or you "want it all" -- this is not the device for you.If you want a workable and inexpensive CD clock radio, this is a good choice in my opinion.
