Equity 31015 Digital LCD Alarm Clock with Blue Display Review

I love the look and size of this clock.The display is large enough and the alarm is loud.It is very basic and easy to use.The only problem is that the clock is not what the description says it is.The back light only comes on when you push the "snooze/light" button and the light is not very bright.I need a clock with the light always on as I wake up at night and want to know the time.This would be difficult for me with this clock because my clock is not at my bedside (so that I have to get out of bed to turn off the alarm in the am).Also, it is only battery powered.You can use one AA or a 9 volt, but there is no way to plug it into the wall.I was fine with this because I wanted a battery-powered clock but, as I mentioned, the description was misleading. I will be returning the clock because of the light issue.

Sony ICF-C212 FM/AM Clock Radio with Full Power Back-up (Black) Review

What can I say, it's an alarm clock, it does what it's supposed to do.Can't expect too much from the radio.My only rant is the battery. BATTERY BATTERY BATTERY!This will not accept your regular 9V Batteries because it requires a specific type ( IEC code 6F22 to be exact).The specification is listed in the manual and on the battery lid.This can only be a problem if you so desire battery backup power.These batteries are Heavy Duty Industrial type and will set you back at least $5 per versus the buck something of the regular 9v batteries.Most stores don't even carry these.Googling these yielded returns from the UK and China. Regular 9V Engergizers and Duracells have IEC codes of 6LR61.My sister and I have two of these clock radios and have tried various Battery Brands to no avail.We haven't tried 6F22 or 8F22 (more common), though. Hope this helps.

Timex T105WX Color Changing Alarm Clock (White Gift Box) Review

The backlight went out after just 2 days....it no longer lights up on either the face or shell.
Before that I was still not happy with it, anyway. Even when it did work the outside shell light was too bright to sleep next to when set to any color other than red, even with the dimmer set to low.
Also, barely bumping the LCD screen would leave black marks in the display you'd have to try to shake or massage out.
The only good thing about this clock was the idea. But it was very poorly done.

Maverick R-495 Color-Coded LCD Weather Station and AM/FM Stereo Radio with Alarm and Projection Clock Review

Projection, clock and radio with color clock changing temperatures all rolled into one. For some reason my daughter really likes it and that is all that counts. She is amused on how the clock changes color with the temperature and projects the time on the ceiling. It is also has atomic adjusted time and a pressure trend with a weather forcast. This is almost like a toy for a child, but adults may not like the flimsy design or the sound. Will have to see how this clock holds up over time.

Santa brought this for my son for Christmas.He's 8 and wanted to get himself up for school.We tried a cheap clock, but he lost interest in it because let's face it, at this age...they still look at things as a toy.We decided to get this clock because it looked fun and it is!He obsesses over the thing.It has a volume control, but he likes his LOUD.It talks to them and tells them "Let's get going, time to start the day" and then honks the horn and screeches the tires.If that's too obnoxious for some, no worries...it also has the radio feature as well as the standard alarm sound.You won't be disappointed!

Equity (40010) Insta-Set Alarm Clock Review

I threw away my money on an Equity Insta-Set alarm clock. "You never have to set it" - this is only true if you would like your alarm clock to tell you the wrong time. I live in Florida. Right now, it is 4:43 PM and we are on Daylight Savings Time. According to my new Equity Insta-Set clock, it is 6:39 AM, for an error of 10 hours and 4 minutes. If you want your clock to show you a time that is 10 hours and 4 minutes off from the real time, you'll love the Equity Insta-Set.

Maybe there is a way to remedy the situation... I can't tell because there is no SET button and the clock didn't come with any instructions.

Worthless.
