I was so excited to receive my iMode from my wife for Christmas 2008. All the main features seemed to work -- AM/FM Radio, iPod, Alarm Clock x 2 -- except the remote control. It comes with a battery. Since it didn't worked, I assumed it was drained and I replaced it with a new battery. It still didn't work. This was disappointing, because this was not a simple on/off remote. This remote allowed the user to complete EVERY function that can be done on the console of the iMode itself. This is a rare completely inclusive remote for the price.
I called the maker of iMode for a replacement remote since the product is under warranty. I was told to exchange it at the store for a new one (makes sense). I asked what to do if the store didn't have it, and Curtis told me to call them back for a remote. The store was indeed sold out of them, and was not planning on restocking after the holiday (holiday promotion). I called iMode maker back as requested. They told me that I must return it to the store, that the store must call iMode maker to explain that they sold a product with faulty remote, Curtis would then send the new remote to the store where I could pick it up. After all this above action taken, iMode maker told the store that the customer must request the remote under the warranty. I'm done...I left the iMode at the store and requested a full refund. I'm sad to write this review, since the product is potentially great (especially for the bang for the buck), but the low quality of the product and the low quality of the customer service and return policy/protocol, left me with the feeling of iMust Return My iMode.

It works... It's simple but the problem is that the snooze button is skinny and long and are directly next to the buttons that turn off your alarm.So, being a major snooze addict, I have on a few occasions accidentally turned off the alarm when meaning to simply snooze.
Well worth the $11 I paid for this item.Perfect for my desk out in the lobby where I work.Not a Mercedes Benz by any stretch of the means, but a good buy nonetheless.
I bought this radio mainly so my 2 year old and I can listen to fun kid music while we take a bath. Sounds great and can be turned down quite low...nice in an echoey bathroom. I only wish it weren't quite so bulky and that you could change CDs without accessing the back of the unit. If it's hanging up on the shower arm against the tile wall you basically have to take it down to change discs. Minor indeed buy annoying nonetheless. Given the choices out there I'd definitely buy this again.
We bought this for a bathroom radio and works well for that.We wanted digital tuning with presets so we could switch between several stations easily.After we got it, we tried it as out alarm clock but it only lasted one night.
Needed a product to keep correct time in frequent power outages ... this does the job (even right out of the box.) Needed a product which would be easier to see at night (with aging eyes) ... this does the job (huge bright red numbers.) Needed a product with loud startling alarm sounds ... this does the job (well, maybe not quite so loud!)
I love this clock because it wakes me up every time.I am deaf in one ear and am a deep sleeper.Until now, I haven't been able to find a clock that would awaken me reliably.I have to take medicine during the night, so I need a clock that will wake me up consistently.I use all three modalities together--alarm, light flasher, andbed shaker.I think the shaker has the most effect on me.It's not unpleasant, but it does get my attention.If I were to change anything about the clock, I would add the ability to set two separate alarms because sometimes I need to get up more than once before night's end.It would also be nice if one could make the numbers go in reverse when selecting an earlier hour for the alarm.However the clock and alarm are not difficult to set.
